Hello World!
I am so very glad you are considering my website and photography as part of your life.
A little/lot bit about me...
Just like Ying and Yang, I have always been drawn to logic by way of math/science and pharma/biotech (where I work full-time) and the beautiful arena of creative passions. I value not only photography, but also writing and illustrating a Children's picture book, singing made-up songs to my boys, cooking without recipes, renovating my home, and the deep and meditative qualities that being one with nature bring me. I enjoy both order, and the natural order of chaos.
I am originally from Boston, studied Physics and Biology in upstate New York, and more recently am raising my three boys in Indiana. I very much define myself as a mother, but also as an introvert who loves deep and meaningful connections, and collaborations with the people that surround me. I believe in the being true to myself, which means I strive to be courageous, vulnerable and authentic every single day. I love people. I love being creative...and not surprisingly, I absolutely love connecting to people through my lens.
I discovered photography at a young age, using just a simple Polaroid to snap picture of my 5th birthday party guests, and eventually learned how to use lenses on my dad's old SLR and develop film and prints in high school. I have (somewhat) reluctantly morphed myself into digital photography, but at the heart of what I do is connect through my lens. My life path has allowed me to arrive at a place in which I am able to reconnect with this original love. I am grateful for this opportunity.
I am new here. I do not have a huge arena of galleries and photographs to share with you (though I hope you enjoy the few I have decided to showcase). I am here to learn and grow - just like all of us are - and photography is my way to do so.
I hope you will consider me for your next project. I am very passionate about photographing people and animals, but I also enjoy nature as well as commercial and creative projects. I look forward to hearing from you so that we can make the photographs you have always imagined.
What I see in my lens is truly a moment of time, captured in infinite beauty. I look forward to sharing this with you.
